At NTS our account managers and technical services personel hold current Cisco accreditations. Therefore, when Cisco technologies are implemented and delivered, NTS always follow the Cisco Life Cycle services model.
- Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate and Optimize (PPDIOO).
In addition, NTS always manage solution delivery utilising the PRINCE2 methodology. A brief overview of the eight PRINCE2 processes is listed below:
- Starting Up A Project – developing the definition of the project from the project mandate; creating an outline business case; identifying the quality expectations of the customer.
- Initiating A Project – identifying all the products that the project will produce, planning the project in detail and setting up controls and administration
- Directing A Project – authorisation of all project and stage plans and decisions on handling issues and exceptions
- Controlling A Stage – activities for day to day management of the project
- Managing Product Delivery – product creation, quality reviews of products and reporting to the Project Manager on progress
- Managing Stage Boundaries – creation of all stage and exception plans
- Closing A Project – controlled closure of a project so that all deliverables attain formal customer sign off, and all outstanding issues are captured for future reference
